This rebranded logo brings a more vibrant, young, fresh, and exciting feel to the existing National Library logo, which lends a very dated, official-government-document impression. The stained-glass artwork in the new logo is a reference to the opulence of the building, through its artworks, while also lending something recognisable to patrons that are familiar with it. The use of a bold typeface for this new logo brings a sense of confidence and reliability which are key to the Library’s image, while the serif typeface reveals trust and eludes to the familiarity of the previous logo.
